WHAT COOKIES ARE AND WHAT THEY ARE USED FOR

Cookies are information (small strings of text) created by a server that are placed on your browser when you visit a website. Cookies perform different and important functions within the network (i.e. execution of computer authentication, sessions monitoring, information storage on specific configurations regarding users accessing the server, preferences storage). PURPOSE OF THE TREATMENT

The processing of data collected by the site, in addition to the purposes connected, instrumental and necessary for the provision of the service, is aimed, among other things, at the following purposes:

– statistical purposes (analysis), through the collection of data and information in an exclusively aggregated and anonymous form in order to verify the correct functioning of the site. None of this information is related to the natural person / user of the site and does not allow, in any way, the identification;

–ancillary purposes, in order to communicate the data to third parties who perform functions necessary or instrumental to the operation of the service and to allow third parties to carry out technical, logistical and other activities on behalf of the Foundation. Providers have access only to personal data that is necessary to perform their duties, undertake not to use the data for other purposes and are required to process personal data in accordance with current regulations.

DATA PROVISION AND CONSEQUENCES OF FAILURE TO PROVIDE PERSONAL DATA

COOKIES DURATION 

Some cookies (session cookies) remain active only until the browser is closed or the logout command is executed.

Other cookies “survive” when the browser is closed and are also available on subsequent visits by the user. These cookies are also called persistent and their duration is set by the server at the time of their creation. In some cases a deadline is set, in other cases the duration is unlimited.

 

COMMUNICATION SCOPE OF PERSONAL DATA

The data provided will in no case be disseminated and / or transferred to third countries. However, such data may be communicated to public security subjects and other public and private subjects for the fulfillment of obligations established by law.

In addition, the data may be communicated to trusted companies of the Foundation that perform on its behalf tasks of a technical and organizational nature (by way of example but not limited to companies that provide maintenance services of the website).

The processing of data will be carried out by employees of the Data Controller specifically identified by the latter as authorized data processors.

 

PROCESSING METHODS

Data processing may take place with IT tools. The data collected will be processed exclusively for the aforementioned purposes.

In any case, the Data Controller will process the data of visitors / users in a lawful and correct manner, adopting the appropriate security measures to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, modification or unauthorized destruction of data.

PROCESSING LEGAL BASIS 

The legal basis of the processing, being technical and analytical cookies (similar to technical cookies) is given by the pursuit of legitimate interest by the Data Controller. In such cases, the user always has the right to object to the processing of data.

 

DATA RETENTION

In compliance with the principles of proportionality and necessity, the data will not be kept for longer periods than those essential for the realization of the purposes indicated above, except for legal obligations.

The data collected during the operation of the site are kept for the time strictly necessary to carry out the specified activities. Upon expiry, the data will be deleted or anonymized, except in the case in which it is necessary to keep such data to comply with regulatory obligations, or to ascertain, exercise or defend one’s right in court.

 

RIGHTS OF THE INTERESTED PARTY

The subjects to whom the personal data refer have the right at any time to obtain confirmation as to whether or not personal data concerning them are being processed and in this case, to obtain access to the data and information referred to in art. 15 of the Regulation, to obtain a copy of such data or the relative correction (articles 15 and 16 of the Regulation).

In addition, the interested parties have the right to request cancellation, limitation of processing, data portability as well as to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority and to oppose in any case, for legitimate reasons, to their processing (Article 17 ss. of the Regulation) and, more generally, to exercise all the rights that are recognized to them by the current provisions of the law.
